Our Christmas newsletter 2007

Merry Christmas to everybody! This year was an exciting one for us. For the first time, we got to visit New York. We saw Niagara Falls, the Adirondack Mtns, and many other beautiful places there, but the definite highlight of the trip was the wonderful people we met. We also visited Minnesota, spending time with Deb’s family and playing music. People up north like bluegrass! After our New York trip, we headed to East Texas and as usual enjoyed ourselves there with very friendly people. We stayed in Arkansas for most of the time, spreading our brand of bluegrass music in churches, state parks, bluegrass festivals, on television, etc. We’ve had a great time! Anna is 18 now. She decided to hold off on going to college because music is what she wants to do. Aaron is 17. He’s still working full-time for a surveyor in Arkadelphia. At age 15, Josiah has passed everybody else up in height. He’s 6’2 1/2” tall, and getting better on the fiddle all the time. Daniel’s 14th birthday ...
