We received our very first trophy! The Hartleys are now the "Grand Champions of the Tim Bantle Family Bluegrass Competition." As you can see, we're the wrestlingest family band you ever saw. (Thanks, Mr. Tim!) We feel very honored and encouraged to have won such a prestigious award, I can tell you!

Last night, we played at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, AR. We wanted to say a big thank you to the folks there! They not only advertised the event well, but they prepared a wonderful meal for us to eat after the performance and treated us like royalty! We really appreciated it! The CD should be here soon . . . I've already got the mp3 files for the songs from the mastering engineer (Eric Uglum), so I'm going to upload some of them so y'all can listen! I'll have extra ones, too, that you can download if you've signed up for our mailing list. (The sign-up thingie is right here on the sidebar of this news section.) I'll try to get that done today if possible!
